Mental Health Awareness Day takes place annually, and is organised by the World Health Organisation and the World Federation of Mental Health. The theme this year is ‘Mental Health in an unequal world.’
World mental health day is an opportunity to raise mental health awareness, tackle mental health stigma and gain better understanding and insight.
Forward Together For Mental Health have partnered with ITN Productions Industry News, to co-produce a special news programme for World Mental Health Day which launches on Sunday 10 October 2021.

"Many people with a mental illness do not receive the treatment that they are entitled to and deserve and together with their families and carers continue to experience stigma and discrimination. The gap between the ‘haves’ and the ‘have nots’ grows ever wider and there is continuing unmet need in the care of people with a mental health problem" wfmh.global
